Vice Chancellor of Dennis Osadebay University Pays Courtesy Visit to Delta Police Commissioner in Asaba

The Vice Chancellor of Dennis Osadebay University, Professor Samuel Ovuete Aghalino, has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi John Oyeniyi, at the Command Headquarters in Asaba.

Professor Aghalino was accompanied by members of the university management team and was received by the Commissioner of Police alongside senior members of the Command Management Team.

The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore areas of mutual cooperation, with discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between the university and the police command to enhance security within and around the academic environment.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, the engagement is part of ongoing efforts to foster a safe and secure learning atmosphere for students and staff of the institution.

Both parties expressed commitment to sustained partnership aimed at improving intelligence sharing, crime prevention, and overall safety within the university community.

The Delta State Police Command reiterated its readiness to work closely with academic institutions across the state in ensuring a secure environment conducive for learning and development.
