Atiku Welcomes Appeal Court Ruling Against ADC Deregistration

The 2027 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has expressed satisfaction with the decision of the Court of Appeal to stay the execution of the Federal High Court judgment seeking the deregistration of the party and four other parties.

In a statement, Atiku submitted that the Independent National Electoral Commission initiating the court request for a stay of execution is of great significance.

The former Vice President of Nigeria added that the judiciary should uphold the rule of law and the constitution at all times.
