Yari to Critics: No Amount of Propaganda Can Break Tinubu Alliance

Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari has strongly denied allegations linking him to the financing of anti-Tinubu’s government protests.

Reacting through his former Chief of Staff, Hon. Abdullahi Abdulkarim Tsafe, the former Zamfara State governor said the allegation was entirely fabricated and designed to mislead the public.

According to the statement, it would be illogical for Yari, who had consistently supported and invested political goodwill in President Tinubu’s emergence and success, to undermine the same administration through sponsored protests.

“It defies logic and common sense that a man who committed enormous personal resources and political capital toward the success of an administration would suddenly turn around to sponsor actions against that government,” the statement noted.

The statement recalled that Yari had remained one of President Tinubu’s loyal political allies and had continuously demonstrated commitment to the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.

It further alleged that the controversy was being fueled by political interests unsettled by Yari’s rising influence and relationships with major stakeholders across the country.

The senator, according to the statement, remains focused on his legislative duties, the welfare of his constituents and national development and would not be distracted by “political merchants thriving on falsehood and sensationalism.”

The statement urged Nigerians to disregard the report, insisting that no amount of propaganda would damage the relationship between Senator Yari and President Tinubu.
