EFCC Hands Over Crime Proceeds Worth Millions To Ministry Of Education

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has handed over proceeds of crimes worth millions of naira to the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa.
The items which include 501 double step bunk beds, 939 mattresses and 12 wooden beds were recovered during a special cyber crime operation, and linked to 792 suspects including 193 foreign nationals who have been deported to their various countries after conviction.
Handing over the documents to the Minister of Education, the EFCC chairman says the gesture is in line with the present administration’s determination to improve the quality of education in the country.
The Commission promised to continue to work diligently to recover more proceeds of crimes and ensure they are used judiciously.
