APC 2027 Campaign Council Visits Sultan Of Sokoto

The All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has commenced its nationwide consultative tour with a courtesy visit to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar.
The delegation, led by the Director-General of the campaign council, Senator Abdul-Aziz Yari Abubakar, included Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu, governors of Kebbi and Zamfara states, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, Aminu Bello Masari, James Abiodun Faleke, Anyim Pius Anyim and Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, among others.
Yari said the delegation visited the Sultan to seek his guidance and prayers ahead of the commencement of the 2027 electioneering campaign.
He said the council would engage key stakeholders across the country as part of its consultations ahead of the elections.
Responding, the Sultan urged political parties and candidates to conduct peaceful campaigns and avoid politicising sensitive national issues.
He also called on politicians to respect the choices of Nigerians during the 2027 elections.
