PAP: Ogidigba Hails Tinubu Over Increase In Amnesty Budget, Says Otuaro’s Reforms Yielding Results

The leadership of the Amnesty Delegates Forum has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for increasing the budget of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), describing it as a demonstration of love for the Niger Delta region.

The group also applauded the Administrator of the PAP, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, for reforms that are expanding the programme to accommodate more impacted communities in the educational revolution.

“Dr. Otuaro’s reforms are yielding results by expanding the program and accommodating more impacted communities in the educational revolution,” the group said.

The Forum particularly hailed Otuaro for the successful deployment of the last batch of 150 post-graduate delegates to study in the United Kingdom.

“We hail Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s administration for the successful deployment of the last batch of 150 post-graduate delegates to the United Kingdom,” it stated.

The group, in a statement signed by Gen. Ogidigba Godstime Ogidigba, also thanked President Tinubu for sustaining critical interventions in the region.

“We thank and appreciate President Tinubu for demonstrating how much he loves the Niger Delta region, by increasing the budget of the Amnesty programme, NDDC and sustaining the Tantita security surveillance contract,” the statement read.

The Forum therefore called on Niger Deltans to show appreciation through massive electoral support.

“We call on Niger Deltans to reciprocate by mobilizing voters massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election comes January 16, 2026,”Ogidigba said.
