By Monday Peters, Abuja
Niger Delta writer and publisher Prince Meshach Bebenimibo has commended High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, and Chief Keston Pondi for their grassroots mobilization and humanitarian interventions.
In a statement on Wednesday, Bebenimibo lauded the duo for their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and for reaching out to the less-privileged in society.
According to him, “the ongoing PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign demonstrates a strong commitment to grassroots engagement and political mobilisation, particularly in connecting with communities and communicating the administration’s programmes and policies directly to the people.”
He also acknowledged their philanthropic gestures, noting that their efforts in “providing assistance and opportunities to individuals and communities in need” deserve commendation.
Bebenimibo described their “leadership, dedication and commitment to community development” as worthy of recognition, and called on stakeholders and community leaders to support initiatives that promote peace, development and youth empowerment.
He further urged supporters of the PBAT movement to “intensify grassroots engagement, reach out to communities, communicate the administration’s record and vision to voters, and participate actively and peacefully in the democratic process.”
He added: “The time has come for all stakeholders who believe in continuity, development and accountable leadership to take the message of the campaign to every ward, community and household, while encouraging citizens to make their electoral choices freely and responsibly.”
