Many feared dead, houses set ablaze in Bauchi

Many people have been feared killed and several houses have been burnt down in newly erupted violence that occurred in the Sakai and Kagadama areas of Bauchi Metropolis on Saturday.

Congress gathered that the clash which erupted between rival youths of Angular Taya and Taiwan extended to other parts of the area.

Security operatives, including tactical teams, Mobile Police Force, Rapid Response Squad(RRS) and Quick intervention Unit(QIU) of the state Police Command had quickly responded to the distress calls by residents.
