2023: You can do without me but not in Rivers State – Wike tells traducers

The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has angrily said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, can do without him in the forthcoming general elections but not in Rivers state.

Wike stated this in Port Harcourt, Rivers state while speaking with journalists on Friday.

Wike said, “Yes, I agree. Atiku can do without me. They can do without me in the other states but not Rivers State.”

Recall, Wike and some Southern governors who feel cheated at the party’s presidential ticket recently pulled out of Atiku’s presidential campaign Council inauguration in Abuja.

Wike’s reaction was followed by statements of some party faithful, saying Wike may even leave the party if he so wishes, insisting that Atiku can win without the Rivers Governor.
