Gov’ship poll: INEC begins distribution of election materials nationwide

Ahead of the Saturdays governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has commenced distribution of sensitive and non sensitive election materials nationwide on Wednesday.

Congress gathered that the early distribution of election materials was to avoid delay in arrival of materials on pulling units on Saturday.

The electoral umpire had assured Nigerians of credible, free and fair elections across the country on Saturday.

INEC reiterated that all materials would be escorted by security agents to ensure its safety ahead of the election.
