Bandits attack checkpoint, kill two policemen in Enugu

Some unidentified gunmen in a fresh attack, invaded security checkpoints in Enugu State on Sunday, killing two policemen.

It was gathered that the gunmen launched the attack at a police checkpoint close to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, UNEC.

According to the source, the policemen, who were on stop and search, were caught unawares.

A video currently trending on social media showed two of the officers lying in a pool of their blood.

However, the Enugu State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident.
