ADC Warri Reps Aspirant Condemns FG persecution of opposition leaders
By Monday Peters, Abuja
The Warri federal constituency Youth O’Clock Agenda, under the leadership of Comrade Hon. Daniel Ezekiel Perela, ADC Aspirant for the House of Representatives, Warri Federal Constituency 2027, has condemned in strongest term the witch hunting of Malami, El-Rufal and several ADC leaders by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
However , Ezekiel in a statement said the move was just to intimidate, harass and cow the opposition into silence, adding that justice must never be selective.
“Anti-corruption must never become a political weapon. If corruption is the enemy, then it must be fought across party lines — without bias, intimidation, or hidden agendas”, he added.
“The Youth O’Clock Agenda stands for: Equal justice under the law
Independent institutions free from political control
Transparency, accountability, and due process. Nigeria’s democracy cannot grow where institutions are used as tools of persecution rather than guardians of justice”.
“Using FCT minister, like an example of how partisan and bias fight against corruption has become under this evil government.
Several petitions were submitted to this same EFCC against Wike regarding the massive looting of Rivers people resources, but up to this moment, the so-called anti-corruption agency has not opened the file ,tankless of inviting the minister”.
“Let us sound it straight to the government of the day that we will not be intimidated into silence for president Bola Tinubu to turn Nigeria into one party state.
Our demand is simple: investigate thoroughly, prosecute lawfully, and treat every Nigerian equally — regardless of political affiliation.
As 2027 approaches, the youth are watching. We refuse to inherit a system built on fear, double standards, and selective accountability.
“Warri Federal Constituency deserves courageous representation. Nigeria deserves credible institutions”, he noted.
