ADC Welcomes Kwankwaso’s Defection As a Boost

The African Democratic Congress ADC has welcomed the defection of former Kano State Governor and NNPP’s 2023 presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to ADC, describing it as a boost to its growing coalition ahead of future elections.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party says the move reflects a growing desire among Nigerians for a new direction and credible leadership.

The ADC notes that Senator Kwankwaso has urged his supporters nationwide to join the party, with a surge already recorded on its online registration platform within 24 hours.

The defection was witnessed by key party leaders, including Senator David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Liyel Imoke, and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, among others.

The party says the rising membership signals increasing support for its vision and calls on Nigerians to join its push for a better future.
