Again, residents protest over scarcity of naira notes, petrol in Ibadan

Dozens of youths and students in Ibadan, Oyo State have staged another protest against the lingering scarcity of naira notes and petroleum.
Congress learnt the repeat protest took off from the front gate of the University of Ibadan on Monday.
According to the residents, they staged the protest to express their dissatisfaction over the lingering scarcity of naira notes and petroleum in the country.
It was gathered that the protesters blocked the institution’s gate, resulting in heavy traffic along the University of Ibadan – Ojoo road for some hours.
The protesters moved from UI to Sango, Mokola and Bodija uninterrupted.
The angry protesters were being guarded by some security agents to prevent a breakdown of law and order.
