APC South-South Youth Council Welcomes Oborevwori, Okowa, Others to APC

The APC South South Youth Council (APC SSYC) has warmly welcomed the defecting governor of Delta State, His Excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and former governor Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and thousands of their supporters who have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.

This was contained in a statement by Comr. Preye Tambou,National Coordinator, APC South South Youth Council (APC SSYC) on Wednesday.

Tambou, however commended the leadership of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, APC National Chairman Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Delta State APC Chairman Elder Omeni Sobotie for creating an enabling environment that had attracted such prominent figures to the party.

The statement, “On behalf of the APC South South Youth Council, I extend a warm welcome to His Excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and thousands of their supporters who have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State. This historic defection marks a significant milestone in our party’s journey towards a more inclusive and progressive Delta State.

“As we welcome Governor Oborevwori, Senator Okowa, and their supporters, we express our willingness to work closely with them to build a stronger, more united APC in Delta State. We believe that their experience, governance expertise, and grassroots networks will be invaluable assets to our party.

“We look forward to harnessing the collective strength of our party to deliver resounding results in the 2027 general elections. Together, we will work towards advancing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and building a prosperous Delta State that truly reflects the aspirations of its people.
