Armed Gunmen Kill Over 30 Persons in Plateau Village

It is another tragic moment in the Bwoi District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau state as gunmen killed over 30 Persons.

This sad incident was affirmed by DSP Alfred Alabo, the command Public Relations Officer, in a statement where he described the incident as unfortunate.

The commissioner of Police, Bartholomew Onyeka, expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident that took the lives of yet-to-be-identified persons from different villages around the area.

He stated that the command received a disturbing call on Tuesday late night from one of the police officers stationed at Tanknale village of Mangu, that some gunmen were shooting in a nearby community.

However, the commissioner has mobilized forces to the scene to ensure that the suspects are apprehended.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Bawa Sale, who was also present at the scene of the incident asserted that with the help of other security agencies in the command, the gunmen will be chased away.
