The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has issued a stern warning to criminal elements across Nigeria, declaring that their time of terrorizing innocent citizens is fast coming to an end.

Speaking during an operational briefing with senior military officers, Oluyede emphasized that the Nigerian Army will intensify its ongoing operations to flush out bandits, insurgents, and other violent groups threatening national security. He stated that the army under his command would not tolerate any act capable of undermining the country’s peace and stability.

According to him, the era of impunity and fear is over, as troops are now better equipped, trained, and motivated to confront enemies of the state head-on. The Army Chief urged Nigerians to continue supporting the military with useful information, assuring that every part of the country would soon experience lasting peace.

He concluded by reaffirming the army’s commitment to upholding professionalism, discipline, and respect for human rights while carrying out its constitutional duties.
