BREAKING: PAP 3rd Phase Stakeholders Constitute 5-man Electoral C’ttee, Insist No 2nd Term For Current Leadership

The Stakeholders of the Third Phase of the presidential Amnesty programme, PAP has constituted a 5-man Electoral Committee to conduct fresh unity elections for new leadership, adding that there would be no second term for the current leadership.
This was contained in a statement signed by Gen Amokachi Perete, Edo State, Gen Kpea Kenneth, Rivers State, Gen. Okoro Epiri, Ondo state, Gen. Akpos Jericho, Delta State, a copy of it was sent to Congress Newspaper on Wednesday Morning.
According to the statement, the tenure of the current leadership of the phase 3, led by Alaye Slabor and Preye Ekpebide would come to an end on the 16th September 2025, hence the move for a unified new leadership.
The statement noted that a 5-man ELECO committee had been earlier constituted by the stakeholders to conduct a fresh congress election on the 10th September 2025, in Edo State.
The ELECO committee is led by Barrister Joshua from Bayelsa State as chairman, while Gen. Isere Sunday from Rivers is to serve as secretary. Others were Gen. Royal Okolobawei, member rep, Ondo State, Gen. Awor gogo rep, Odo State and Ofovwei Oloye rep, Delta state.
The Committee urged interested aspirants to indicate their interest in their various platforms and come forward to pick nomination forms”, the statement added.
The statement read, “the leadership of phase 3 amnesty programme wishes to inform the general public most especially, the amnesty office that the tenure of the national chairman of phase 3 will come to an end on the 16th of september 2025. However, a five man ELECO committee was earlier set up by the stakeholders to conduct a congress election on the 10th of September ,2025, in Edo state”
