BREAKING: Rev. Uma Ukpai Passes Away at 80

Renowned international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has passed away at the age of 80.
According to reports, the revered cleric died in Lagos, bringing to an end a remarkable life devoted to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
A statement shared by a source described him as “a beacon of light and a source of inspiration to many,” adding that “a dynamic kingdom general takes a bow.”
Rev. Ukpai was one of the Founding Fathers of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and was widely celebrated for his decades of impactful evangelistic work across Nigeria and beyond.
Born in 1945, Dr. Ukpai dedicated much of his life to Christian ministry, conducting crusades, mentorship programmes, and humanitarian outreaches that touched countless lives. He was known for his deep faith, humility, and remarkable spiritual insight, earning him respect within the Christian community both locally and internationally.
Many have taken to social media to pay tribute, describing his passing as a great loss to the body of Christ.
