Buhari’s Administration Destroyed Nigeria’s Economy – Dogara

By Diafa Doubra,
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has blamed the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari for plunging Nigeria into its current economic crisis.
Speaking at a public forum on Tuesday, Dogara said Buhari’s government left behind a fragile economy marked by rising debt, high unemployment, inflation, and widespread poverty. He argued that poor policy choices, weak governance, and mismanagement during that period created the financial hardship Nigerians are facing today.
Dogara urged the current administration to learn from the past by embracing accountability, transparency, and sound economic reforms that can restore growth and improve the living standards of citizens.
He also called on Nigerians to hold leaders accountable for their actions, stressing that the country cannot afford another cycle of bad governance.
