CAC Church in Kwara Reopens for Worship Days After Deadly Bandit Attack
By Micheal Chukwuebuka
The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, located in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, has reopened for worship just days after a deadly bandit attack that plunged the community into grief.
A video from the first service held since the incident shows a pastor addressing a smaller-than-usual congregation, as worshippers gradually return to the sanctuary five days after the assault.

The attack occurred during a church meeting on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, when armed assailants invaded the premises, killing two worshippers, injuring another, and abducting 39 people.
Despite the tragedy, church leaders and members gathered once again in a demonstration of resilience and unwavering faith, choosing to resume worship as the community begins the slow path to recovery.
