CHARACTER ASSASSINATION: A NEED FOR ORDERLINESS & DECORUM.

IT HAS COME to our attention that certain individuals within Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State are deliberately spreading false information thereby attempting to malign the reputation of the Hon. Commissioner of Finance for Ondo State – Mrs Ómówunmi Isaac.

The sponsors of this errand individuals who have been funding the mudslinging activities with over Six (6) million naira monthly since their return from FCT, Abuja are well known.

As recently as yesterday, more tranches of funds were dispatched to the Press to carry out this malicious campaign, even as the state celebrates its 50 years anniversary!.

We urge these individuals to reconsider their actions, as they will face the consequences should they refuse to desist.

Releasing false information to the Press without evidence is unlawful and unacceptable.

Any attempt to defame the performing Governor of Ondo State and or the Commissioner for Finance for pecuniary and political agrandisement reasons will be met with stiff resistance and legal action.

The Commissioner for Finance is a government official and not a party functionary or an APC administrator.
As a result, any attempt to drag her into partisan politics to satisfy personal interests will be resisted by all means possible.

The sponsors of these clandestine individuals know what they’re doing. We are not unaware too, and we will take a thorough and appropriate actions to checkmate their shenanigans.

We sincerely hope these set of people will call themselves to order henceforth.
