Chief Ari’s death: Family announces ceremony to mark end of open-condolence visit at his residence Friday

The family of late Ijaw leader, Chief (Dr) Jonathan Ari (JP), has announced a ceremony to end open-condolence visit on Friday.

The ceremony would be held in his residence from afternoon till night and would be anchored by live music band display.

This was contained in a statement by a top member of the family, Engineer Ari S. Ari on Thursday.

The prominent Ijaw Chief was the Puwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Congress learnt he was born on 15th September 1939 and died at 11:50pm Tuesday April 4, 2023, at the age of 84 years.

The popular Ijaw leader reportedly hailed from Kokodiagbene community in Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta state.
