Congress Management sympathizes with Gbaramatu kingdom over demise of Oporoza chairman, Agbadu Fabaide

The Management of Congress Newspaper and Television station expressed shock over the death of the chairman of the Oporoza community, Mr Agbadu Godwin Febaide after a brief illness.

 

According to the Congress Management, the sudden departure of Mr Agbadu Godwin was a painful loss, not only to his family and Gbaramatu kingdom but to the entire Ijaw nation.

 

While sympathizing with the Gbaramatu kingdom, the media house said Chairman Febaide was a committed leader who dedicated his life to the growth, unity and service of his people.

 

It would be recalled that the late Oporoza community chairman bagged a leadership award in the just concluded Congress 4th anniversary celebration in Warri Delta State on July 10, 2025 for his outstanding leadership and service.

 

The statement read, “We at Congress Newspaper /TV express our deepest condolences on the passing of the Chairman of Oporoza Community, Agbadu Godwin Febaide. His sudden departure is a painful loss, not only to the people of Oporoza but to the entire Ijaw nation.

 

“Chairman Febaide was a committed leader who dedicated his life to the growth, unity and service of his people. We recall with honour his presence at our 4th Year Congress Anniversary, where he was rightfully recognized for his outstanding leadership and service.

 

“His legacy will remain a beacon of courage, selflessness, and community spirit. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, the Oporoza community, Gbaramatu kingdom and all the Ijaw nation.

 

“It is our prayer that God should give the family and his loved ones the fortitude to be the irreparable loss.

 

May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
