In what appears to be a show of shame and a public disgrace for former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, as court slammed him over a frivolous suit against Atiku Abubakar.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Monday, June 5 slammed a N10 Million fine against Festus Keyamo for filing a frivolous suit against the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The judge, during his ruling, awarded N5 million fine each in favour of Atiku and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission ( ICPC ), which was in a total of N10 Million against Festus Keyamo.

Justice James Omotosho described the suit by Festus Keyamo as an abuse of court processes.

He described the suit as “frivolous, vexatious and abuse of court processes.”

The judge however stated that the fine should be paid at 10 per cent per annum until the cost is finally liquidated.
