Dangote Sets To Buy French Football Club

Nigerian-born Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has disclosed that he’s ready to buy French Ligue 2 Club, Valenciennes.
Aliko Dangote had once again indicated his interest in owning a football club, but not Arsenal FC this time around as a lot of people would have supposed.
The business mogul, who is the Chief Executive Chairman of Dangote Group of company stated that he’s perfectly capable to acquire 60% ownership of the club, according to French media outlet.
Recall, the Nigerian business man, Dangote was interested in purchasing Arsenal, a premier League club, in the past but failed to achieve his aim.
In 1913, Valenciennes was formed and plays its home matches at the recently built stadium, Du Hainaut.
Valenciennes had played in the French cup final once.
The Dangote Group is the largest industrial company in Africa.
Aliko Dangote made his fortune in the cement industry to clinch the richest man in Africa with net worth of $13.5 billion.
