Delta ADC leader, Ezekiel felicitates new Nat’l Leadership, Declares Full Support, Slams Tinubu’s Attempts to Undermine Democracy

The Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Warri North, Delta State, Comrade Daniel Ezekiel, has pledged full support for the party’s national leadership. While congratulating the new national leadership of the party, he added that the ADC was the new face of the opposition politics in Nigeria.

In a statement congratulating the party’s leadership on its emergence, Ezekiel accused President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to turn Nigeria into a one-party state. They cited Tinubu’s Democracy Day speech, where he allegedly mocked the state of opposition parties, as evidence of a growing dictatorship.

He also praised national figures like Atiku Abubakar, David Mark, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Rauf Aregbesola, and Nasir El-Rufai for resisting authoritarianism and offering Nigerians hope.

However, the Warri North ADC vowed 100% loyalty to the party’s cause, promising to help make ADC the envy of other parties and restore true democratic values in the country.

The statement reads, “Tinubu in one of his desperation moves to kill the birth of ADC, he offered 3 ministerial slots to the leaders of the coalition with 10 billions of naira for them to sabotage ADC, which they turned down.

“Now that leadership of ADC has finally settled down to breadth a fresh air into opposition role and how governance should be , we ADC members in Niger Delta region, Warri North ,L.G.A ,Delta State to be precise, we are saying it emphatically that the party should be rest assure of our 100 percent support in making ADC the envy of other parties.

“I greatly commend our leaders from His Excellency Atiku Abubakar,Senator David Mark,His Excellency Peter Obi, His Excellency Rotimi Amechi, His Excellency Rauf Aregbesola, His Excellency, Nasir El-Rufai and host of others who fought like wounded lions to give Nigerians option and opportunity to experience true democracy”.
