Delta Gov. Oborevwori Dissolves Board of State Govt. Commission, Parastatals, Agencies

The executive governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori has dissolved the boards of state government commissions, parastatals and agencies.

This is according to a release signed by the secretary to the state government, Kingsley Emy.

“It Is hereby announced for the information of the genera! public, particularly Deltans, that in the exercise of his Constitutional Powers and also, for the public interest, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, has approved the immediate dissolution of the Board of all State Government Commissions, Parastatals and Agencies.” The statement partially reads.

However, the dissolution does not affect six of the state government Commission, which include, the Civil service commission, Judicial Service Commission, Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, House of Service Commission, Local Government Service Commission, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Governing Councils of Educational Institution, and Delta State Board of Internal Revenue.

Following the immediate dissolution of the state government Commissions, parastatals and agencies, they were all requested to hand over to the administrative heads in their respective offices.
