Delta Govt Urges Students to Apply for Air Force Military Schools Entrance Examination

The Delta State Government has urged eligible students of Delta State origin to apply for the 2026/2027 Entrance Examination into the Nigerian Air Force Military Schools, Comprehensive and Secondary Schools located across the country.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Director-General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, disclosed that the Nigerian Air Force has commenced online applications for admission into Junior Secondary School (JSS 1) in the Air Force Military School (AFMS) and the Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), both located in Jos, as well as Air Force Comprehensive and Air Force Secondary Schools nationwide.
The Bureau Director General explained that the online registration portal is currently open, adding that applications for the Air Force Military School and Air Force Girls Military School will close on April 4, 2026, while those for the Air Force Comprehensive and Secondary Schools will close on April 25, 2026.
The state government urged prospective candidates and their parents to complete the registration process before the respective deadlines through the Nigerian Air Force Examination Centre (NAFEC) portal at https://nafec.org.ng.
Oghenesivbe further stated that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has encouraged parents and guardians to ensure that qualified students take advantage of the opportunity, noting that admission into the Nigerian Air Force schools aligns with his administration’s commitment to advancing quality education under the MORE Agenda.
According to him, the Air Force schools provide a disciplined academic environment that fosters excellence, leadership, and a spirit of national service. He therefore advised applicants to submit their forms promptly via the official portal.
The Delta State Government wished all prospective candidates success in the forthcoming entrance examination.
