Delta Launches Security Trust Fund As Tompolo Promises Continues Support

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has launched the Delta State Security Trust Fund, a public-private partnership aimed at enhancing security in the state. The launch, held at the Government House in Asaba, saw prominent business leaders and security officials in attendance.

At the event, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, made huge donations and promised continued support to enhance security in the state. Governor Oborevwori emphasised his administration’s commitment to building a safer and more prosperous state through collaborative security efforts.

The Security Trust Fund, established by law in 2013, provides a platform for private sector contributions to complement government investments in security. The governor called on private sector stakeholders to partner with the government to ensure a safer Delta State, warning that there would be no hiding place for criminals.
