Delta Police deposit unidentified accident corpse in morgue, call for identification

The Delta State Police Command has deposited an unidentified accident corpse in Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary in Asaba.
The police command said the corpse was recovered along Benin/Asaba expressway by Summit junction Asaba, involving one Mack Truck with Reg. No. RBC 92 ZS, adding the truck knocked down the deceased while crossing the road.
The State Police Spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed this to newsmen in a statement on Thursday.
He said, “The photograph attached is that of a deceased accident victim whose name and address are unknown. He was involved in an accident along Benin/Asaba expressway by Summit junction Asaba, involving one Mack Truck with Reg. No. RBC 92 ZS, the truck knocked down the deceased while crossing the road, and the corpse has been deposited at Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba.
“Any person(s) who knows the victim, his parents, friends or other relatives should report at State Traffic office at ‘B’ division Asaba, Maduemezia Memorial Hospital Mortuary Asaba or the Police Public Relations Office, Police Headquarters Asaba for possible identification and collection of a corpse.
