DIA Decorates Brig. Gen. Diriyai, 5 Others, Charges Them On Dedication To Duty

The Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) has decorated Brigadier General Woyengibarakemi Diriyai and five other officers with their new ranks.

The promoted officers were decorated at a ceremony held at the DIA headquarters in Abuja on Friday.

In their various remarks, various ranking officers stated that, the newly decorated officers were promoted based on merit because of their dedication to service and loyalty.

They advised the promoted officers to remain committed and loyal in discharging their duties, adding that, their promotions come with additional responsibilities.

In his address, the Director, DIA, Lt.Gen. Emmanuel Undiandeye commended the new officers on their well deserved promotion.

Speaking on behalf of the other promoted officers, Brig. Gen. Diriyai promised that, they will discharge their duties with the utmost dedication to serve the nation.

He commended the DIA for finding them worthy of promotion as an appreciation of their dedication, loyalty and service to the nation.

He also commended their families for their support and patience with their long absence and other demands of the job which they endure daily.

Other officers decorated were; Captain Usman Muhammad; Commander Isua J. Isua; Col. Ifeanyi Joseph Ajimoka; Col. O.J Babatunde.

The officers were joined by their wives, families and well wishes to celebrate their promotions.
