sharing the intelligence with the security operatives as a sabotage to President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to end the menace of Banditry.

The Zamfara State Chairman party Alhaji Tukur Danfulani said the Governor’s refusal to fight the Bandits or give intelligence report to the security agencies to fight the bandits was a complete sabotage.

“We don’t know why he is harbouring them in the state and continues to allow them kill and abduct innocent citizens of the state. Danfulani said.

“As the chief security officer of the state refused to take proactive measures against them, but only saying, if he had the authority he’d bring banditry to an end in the state within two weeks. The statement read.

” As chief security officer of the state and having set up a well as armed the state’s community protection guard why he didn’t direct them to the bandits hideouts which he knows to smoke them out, but he would rather play politics by always saying the issue of security is in the hands of the federal government forgetting that he was accepted by the people to emerge as governor in 2023, because of his campaign slogan and promises centered to eliminate armed bandits within his first two months in office. The statement said.

The party further blamed the Governor for not romancing the Federal Government to joint hands and overcome the menace.

“Gov. Dauda never approached the federal government to seek for partnership in the effort to clear the state in the bandits, for that will spell doom and bring an end to the only weapon he’s using in condemning the APC under Matawalle. Idris said.

Speaking on the said 150 distributed patrol vehicles as stated by Governor Dauda Lawal the party said most of the vehicles were given to security agencies as mobility not for operations while others were set up for decoration in the state capital and roots to his residence.

“The said distributed 150 vehicles to security agencies were given not as operational vehicles but as rather as mobility to the benefiting agencies and without any further support such as fueling and maintenance allowance while others were position for decoration on roots leading to his residence and in the capital city. The statement noted.
