Dr Otuaro bags meritorious service award as PAP students hold summit in Delta

The National Association of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (NAPAS) on Saturday conferred a meritorious service award to the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD, a recognition that highlights the critical efforts of the Otuaro in fostering peace and development in the Niger Delta region.
This prestigious award was presented during the PAP students capacity building summit which took place at Ibru and Cecilia University in Agbarha-Otor, Delta State.
The ceremony brought together various stakeholders, including students, educators, and community leaders, all united in their goal of promoting education and empowerment among the youth.
The award was graciously received on his behalf by Mr Aloysius Ekwealor, PAP Relations Manager (RM),as he conveyed the administrator’s good will passage to the organizers.
While presenting the award, the students’ president Comrade Ebidouwei M emphasised the transformative reforms of the administrator of PAP, adding that he has changed the narrative of the presidential Amnesty program with few months in office.
During the event, attendees were treated to inspiring speeches that emphasised the transformative power of education and the continued importance of the amnesty initiative in bridging the gap between armed conflict and sustainable development. Students presented their stories of triumph, expressing gratitude for the opportunities provided by the PAP, which has enabled many to pursue their academic dreams and improve their prospects for the future.
In his remarks, the technical aide conveyed the administrator’s appreciation for the recognition, underscoring the commitment of the PAP to uplifting the lives of beneficiaries and investing in their education. He reiterated the need for ongoing support and collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure the success of the program and the collective vision of a peaceful and prosperous Niger Delta.
