Edo Ijaw Throws Weight Behind Okpehbolo, Aigboboh

The Edo Ijaws have declared its support for Senator Monday Okpehbolo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, and Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, the Edo State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Agenda.

The declaration was made by Gen. Ogidigba Godstime Ogidigba, National Chairman of Phase 3 Amnesty Program, on behalf of the good people of the Edo Ijaws.

In a statement, Ogidigba praised Okpehbolo’s performance in office, citing significant progress in roads, infrastructure, education, security, agriculture, and healthcare.

The statement also noted that opposition parties have been weakened, with many leaders defecting to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

However, Ogidigba appealed to Okpehbolo to address the needy Udo-Inikorogha-Ofunama-Ajakurama road project.

The Ijaw community in has pledged to support Okpehbolo and Aigboboh’s efforts towards progress and good governance, and to deliver 2.5 million votes from Edo State to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
