Egbema Youth Council to Inaugurate New National Executive May 18

The Egbema Youth Council (EYC) Worldwide is set to inaugurate its newly elected national executive on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The historic ceremony will take place at the former Egbema/Gbaramatu Council Secretariat, opposite Union Bank, Airport Road, Warri, ( now Egbema OPUDIS HCDT secretariat.) beginning promptly at 11:00 AM.
The inauguration will be chaired by Amb. Apostle Kukuru Benjamin, the esteemed Chairman of the Occasion and CEO/MD of Ebis Hotel and Suites. He will be joined by Hon. Mrs. Florence Joel Bisina, Vice Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Koko, who will serve as Chairlady of the Occasion.
The newly elected leadership, chosen during the EYC elections held on April 26th, 2025, will be sworn-in for a three-year term. At the helm of the Council is Barr. Amatelemowei A. Sode (LL.B, BL), a respected legal practitioner, who will serve as the National President of the 11-member executive team.
The inauguration will also feature the investiture of the Youth Council’s Grand Patrons and Patrons, marking a key milestone in the strengthening of youth leadership and development within the Egbema Kingdom.*
The Organizing Committee is led by Mr. Martins Lawuru as Chairman and Amb. Silas Tamarau-Emi JP, LL as Secretary. They have assured stakeholders of a well-coordinated and impactful event that reflects the aspirations of the Egbema youth body.
The Egbema Youth Council (EYC) served as the umbrella body representing the vibrant and dynamic youth of the Egbema Kingdom. This inauguration not only ushers in a new era of leadership but also sets the tone for the council’s future initiatives aimed at empowerment, unity, and development.
