FG Defends Tinubu’s Fairness in Projects and Appointments Across Regions

By Diafa Doubra,
The Federal Government has assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu has been fair and just in the distribution of projects and appointments across the country, dismissing claims that certain regions are being sidelined. According to government officials, development efforts and federal initiatives are being evenly spread to ensure inclusiveness and national balance.
The clarification comes amid rising political debates and criticism from opposition figures, who argue that some zones are not adequately represented in the administration’s policies. The government, however, insists that the president’s decisions have always been guided by equity and the principle of national unity.
Officials also emphasized that many ongoing infrastructure projects, such as road rehabilitation, housing schemes, and power sector interventions, are strategically located to benefit multiple states, regardless of political or ethnic leanings. They urged citizens to look beyond partisan narratives and focus on the long-term benefits of the administration’s reforms.
The reassurance is seen as part of efforts to strengthen public trust at a time when Nigerians are facing economic hardship and heightened political tension. By reaffirming its commitment to fairness, the government hopes to ease concerns and build wider support for its policies.
