FG Opens Bridges Road Infrastructure Projects in Gombe State

To address nationwide infrastructural challenges, the Federal Ministry of Works has inaugurated key emergency Special Intervention Projects along the Bauchi–Gombe and Gombe–Cham corridors in Gombe State.

The projects inaugurated include bridges along Ture in Kaltungo , Gombe–Yola axis, reinstatement of failed shoulders and washouts on the Gombe–Bauchi Road, as well as Gombe bypass Road

Federal controller works in Gombe- State, Muhammad Baffa commended the Federal Government for approving the interventions to ensure the free flow of traffic in the state.

He Explained that The dualisation of Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe Road, is another major boost to road transportation in the North-East region of the country.

Director of Information at the Federal Ministry of Works, Mohammed Abdullahi, said the projects formed part of 260 emergency interventions targeted at critically failed federal highways nationwide.
