First Lady, Governor’s Wives: Our Goal is to Empower, Support Vulnerable groups in Nigeria

The first lady of the Federation and National Chairperson of Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Social Investment
Senator Oluremi Tinubu reassured the commitment of the Nigerian Governor’s wives in empowering and supporting less privileges irrespective of their status

Senator Oluremi Tinubu made this assertion at the launching and distribution ceremony of
food items to vulnerable groups in Zamfara state, held at the Trade fair complex Gusau.

The first lady represented by the wife of the Vice president, Hajiya Nana Khashim Shettima said, the next program is to be launched in Rivers state.

“Our aim is to complement the effort of President Bola Tinubu to support Nigerians to achieve their goals irrespective of their status.

The RHI National Chairperson, Senator Oluremi Tinubu also launch The National Community Food Bags in Borno state in collaboration with the Ministry Social Development and Welfare, Bank of Agriculture and the National Primary Healthcare.

“We will empower women, economically, socially and support children and vulnerable groups. Sen. Oluremi said.

She further emphasized that, the aim of the new program to be launched in Borno state is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow and strive through acquiring proper nutrition.

The first lady also said, the sustainability of the program lies on the monthly contributions of two powerful donors, Abdussamad Rabi’u and the second one who chose to be anonymous.

In her welcome address, the Zamfara state chairperson of the Renewed Hope Initiative and the state first lady, Hajiya Hurriya Dauda Lawal the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme Food Outreach in the State was outstanding one and It reflects compassion in action, unity of purpose, and their shared commitment to improving the lives of people,especially the most vulnerable groups.

“It embodies the true spirit of service and our collective duty to uplift one another.

“I would like to sincerely appreciate Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for this laudable initiative, which continues to bring relief and hope to countless families across the nation. I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima, Wife of the Vice President and 19 Northern Governors wives. Hurriya said.

“Your presence is a clear reflection of the impact and success of the Renewed Hope Initiative in transforming lives.

In his remarks,
Governor Lawal applauded the first lady and her entourage for blessing the state which according to it is the first time in the history of the State.

“Zamfara is honoured and we thoroughly appreciate and grateful to the gesture up which I believe many more are coming. Governor Lawal said.
