By Sola Omoniyi, Lagos
Five hoodlums, who identified themselves as Yoruba Nation Agitators will miss the president-elect, Bola Tinubu’s inauguration as they will be cooling off behind the bar.
The men of the Nigerian police force nabbed five Yoruba Nation Agitators on Sunday, May 28, after they attacked a radio station, Amuludun FM Ibadan.
It was gathered that the agitators stormed the radio station in the early hours of Sunday, May 28. The hoodlums who were about twenty in number went to the radio station with charms, hijacked a live programme and disrupted the peace of the environment.
It was gathered that the alleged Oodua Nation Agitators displayed some flags of their group after they hijacked a sponsored ongoing programme on the radio station.
The agitators could be heard on the live programme asserting that “Oodua Nation has come to stay.”
The group maintained that Yourba is no more under the Federal Government of Nigeria.
However, the security operatives were able to conquer them after five persons were arrested and taken to Eleyele police headquarters.
The radio station’s general manager, Mr Stephen Agbaje, affirmed the incident and stated that the situation has been brought under control.
