President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has refuted rumours making the rounds that his health was failing.
It was reported a month ago that the former Lagos governor jetted out of the country to France at night which reason was not disclosed.
A development that had raised dust in some quarters, alleging that he was rushed abroad for medical attention.
Meantime, the All Progressives Congress, APC, had debunked the rumour, adding that Tinubu only travelled abroad to have some rest and recuperate from the election stress.
Tinubu, while speaking with some party supporters shortly after arriving Abuja on Monday, said he travelled to get some rest and get refreshed, adding that he was prepared for the task ahead.
Addressing the crowd that accompanied him home, the President-elect said: “I’m happy to be back. I have rested, I’m refreshed and I’m ready for the task ahead.
“Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I’m strong, very strong.”
