Former AGPA chieftain is toothless in Zamfara Politics, APC replies Dr. Shinkafi

Zamfara State APC described the modeling acts of former APGA chieftain Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi as synonymous to betrayal, envy, frustrations and meddlesomeness.

The party accused former APGA chieftain for applying maddening conditions and antics to achieve his desperate desire.

A statement by the Public Secretary of the party, Malan Yusuf Idris Gusau said, Since during Matawalle’s Governorship in the state, Shinkafi was in desperate search for where to lump after he lost it all in APGA.

“He felt he could come and make free money and he did too using lies and unsuccessful cheap blackmails having been tolerated by the governor. Yusuf Gusau said.

Added that, “Even when he claimed to have brought in his APGA supporters to Matawalle, the supporters had to leave him to follow Matawalle while refusing to be known as Sani Shinkafi camp members upset him but he couldn’t do anything to spoil his scavenging benefits on the government especially the governor.

The publicity Secretary also accused the APGA chieftain for forcing himself to Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaigns which he succeeded but without any defined responsibility.

“His unwholesome tendencies, and when the APC emerged victorious, he continued to push for a lucrative position even when everyone knew he contributed nothing to earn the federal government’s confidence. The statement read.

“He used insecurity situation in the state against Minister of Defence. Yusuf Gusau said

“In his most recent and haphazard statement, he indicated that Kabiru Mafara was forced out of the APC when in actual sense, Marafa who couldn’t secure any appointment left on his own volition boasting that he had made several moves against and for the APC to sack him but it didn’t which was why he exited himself. The statement noted.

As for Sani Jaji of the House of Representatives, he was accused for anti-party activities on many counts before he was finally dismissed.

‘Supporters of both Marafa and Jaji knowing fully well the circumstances that led to their former leaders’ exits have remained strong loyalists of the APC to the disappointment of the shinkafi who cannot even win his polling unit for any political party. Yusuf Gusau said.

The publicity Secretary said, APC has never been united in Zamfara as it is now, courtesy of the party leaders efforts, Minister Matawalle, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, Senator Yarima Bakura, former governor Mamuda Shinkafi among others.

“It was this unity that made the APC to overwhelmingly defeat the ruling PDP in the state at the recent by-election and we remain highly confident that even with the combination of betrayers like the money monger Sani Shinkafi, anti party activist Sani Jaji and envious Kabiru Mafara, the APC is heading for a strong comeback in Zamfara come 2027. Yusuf Gusau stated.
