The business outlets owned by political opponents of the former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, which were sealed during his administration on the order of Wike have been reopened.

The present administration of Governor Fubara has reopened all businesses sealed by the former governor during the political heat of pre-election in Rivers State.

The petrol station which was owned by Chinyere Igwe, former Federal Lawmakers, sealed by security attached to the state government house over disagreement on politics, has been reopened for business.

Recall, Wike had earlier accused the former lawmaker of involving in illegal oil bunkering which the former Lawmaker denied.

Iqwe stated that the former state governor, Wike, action against him was a result of supporting and teaming up with Hon. Austin Opara, in support of Atiku Abubakar, 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate.

Igwe who once represented Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, was an ally with Atiku, which Wike didn’t support.

However, after Wike left the state administration, Governor Fabura reopened the fuel station located at Adelabu-Ojota street, Mile2 Axis, Port Harcourt, and also unsealed Priscy’s Lounge at Elekahia in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
