Afrobeat singer, Tiwa Savage, has cried out over the hikes in fuel prices and the scarcity of fuel barely an hour after her arrival.

The award-winning singer cried out on her Instagram page stating that in less than an hour she returned to Nigeria, one of her car tires has gone, and the other car was now in a fuel station.

Tiwa Savage also lamented about the condition of the electricity in her area. She disclosed that she’s going back to where she came from.

She wrote: “Literally less than an hour back in Naija, and one of my car tires gone, another car now in the queue for fuel. The issue with electricity in my house.

“I am logging off and going back to where I came from,” she added.

Recall, Congress News had earlier reported about the present situation on the pump price increase in the country following the statement by the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Just two days after Bola Tinubu resumed office as the number one citizen of the country, Nigerians have been feeling pain as many couldn’t get the means to transport themselves to their working places due to the increase in transportation.

At the moment, petroleum is now selling between N500-N750.
