Gov Oborevwori visits late Pa Clark’s country home, sympathises with family, Burutu people

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, paid a condolence visit to the Kiagbodo home of the late High Chief Pa Edwin Clark, a renowned Ijaw leader and elder statesman Today 21st February, 2025. This visit demonstrates the governor’s respect for Pa Clark’s legacy and his commitment to mourning the loss of a great leader alongside the Ijaw nation and the people of Delta State.

During his visit, Governor Oborevwori sympathised with Pa Clark’s family, describing his passing as a great loss to the country. This condolence visit reflects the governor’s acknowledgment of Pa Clark’s significant contributions to the development of the Niger Delta region and his tireless advocacy for justice, equity, and good governance.

However, the governor was received by Hon. Ebikeme Clark, commissioner for Riverine infrastructure of Delta State, other siblings, political leaders and stakeholders across Burutu LGA.
