Gov. Otti Suspends Permanent sec., Head Of Service

The executive Governor of Abia state, Alex Otti, has directed the immediate suspension of the Head of Service, and all permanent secretaries in the state.

This development came following the inauguration of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on the recovery of properties and funds belonging to the Abia state government.

This was affirmed in a release signed by Kazie Uko, Abia State Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

It was maintained that all Permanent Secretaries except, John Pedro Iroakazi, Clark of the House, and Mrs U.G Uche Ikonne, Solicitor General, are directed to hand over to the Senior Director in their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

However, the state government immediately approved the appointment of Lady Joy Maduka, Director of, the Ministry of Education, as Acting Head of Service.
