Governor Buni Flags Off FG Emergency Food & Nutrition Support, Targets 40,000 Vulnerable Persons In Yobe State

Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni, officially flagged off the distribution of the Federal Government Emergency Food and Nutrition Support in Damaturu, Yobe State.
A timely intervention expected to reach over 40,000 vulnerable individuals with nutritional food baskets and essential medical consumables during this critical period of Ramadan.
During the Flag Off, Governor Mai Mala Buni expresses profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his compassionate leadership and swift support to vulnerable populations, as well as to the Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Yusuf Tanko Sununu, for his commitment and hands-on coordination.
He equally commended the Management and Staff of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) for aligning with and strengthening Governor Buni’s ongoing humanitarian interventions, reinforcing his administration’s shared resolve to alleviate hardship, enhance resilience, and ensure that many vulnerable households were reached in Yobe State.
The items so distributed :
a Bag of Rice, a bag of Beans, a bag of Millet, vegetable Oil, Palm Oil, seasonings, salt, paste, Tomatoes as well as medical consumables expected to be distributed across 3 Health Facilities.
