How Businessman Excreted 127 Wraps Of Cocaine In NDLEA Custody

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), arrested a 52-year-old businessman, Ejiofor Godwin Emeka, at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), Kano, after 127 wraps of cocaine concealed in his private parts and stomach were recovered following several days of excretion observation.
Ejiofor, who runs boutiques in Lagos and Onitsha, Anambra State, was apprehended upon arrival from Bangkok, Thailand, via Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 941 on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, following credible intelligence. A body scan confirmed that he had ingested illicit drugs and concealed others in his private parts.
A total of 58 wraps of cocaine were initially recovered from his underwear, after which he was placed under excretion observation.
He subsequently expelled 69 additional pellets in seven excretions, bringing the total to 127 wraps weighing 1.388 kilograms.
Meanwhile, NDLEA commands nationwide continued their War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) sensitization campaigns across schools, worship centres, workplaces, and communities. These included lectures at General Murtala Mohammed College, Yola; Assembly of God Secondary School, Abakaliki; Community Girls Secondary School, Bakori; Girls Secondary School, Nenwe; Sacred Heart Secondary School, Kabba; and several others across the country.
While commending officers and men of MMIA, MAKIA, DOGI, Kano, Edo, Rivers, Kaduna, Katsina, Niger, Ondo, and Osun Commands for their professionalism and dedication, NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), urged personnel to sustain their commitment to the Agency’s drug control efforts with tenacity, discipline, and balance.
