High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has been commended by several Ijaw communities in the Niger Delta for his impactful role in improving safety, protecting the environment, and empowering youth and women.

According to stakeholders, he created a safer environment for fishing expeditions through his efforts, allowing fishermen who had once abandoned their trade to return to the waters. Improved security and cleaner waterways were said to have restored hope and economic opportunity to many riverine communities.

His role in curbing oil spillage across the region’s waterways was also widely acknowledged. The activities of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited ; the private pipeline surveillance company led by Tompolo , was credited with significantly reducing illegal oil bunkering and crude theft.

As a result, a notable improvement in the ecological condition of the rivers and creeks was observed.

Furthermore, job opportunities were said to have been created for hundreds of Niger Delta youths through Tantita Security Services. The initiative was seen as a major step in addressing unemployment, reducing crime, and promoting economic stability in local communities.

Tompolo was also recognized as a strong voice for the Niger Delta people. His continued advocacy on behalf of the region was appreciated by many, who believed his influence had brought greater attention to the challenges faced by the communities.

The expressions of gratitude by the Ijaw people reflected the positive changes that had been witnessed across the region, with hopes that such efforts would be sustained for future generations.
