Delta Ijaw Women Mourn Death Of Pa Clark, Sympathises With Family, Ijaw Nation

Delta Ijaw Women in Politics for Peace and Culture, IWPPC, are mourning the loss of High Chief Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, a revered leader and champion of the Ijaw nation, describing him as a “fallen legend”. This heartfelt tribute was expressed in a statement signed by its national president Comrade Mesahrun Stella Bobo, shortly after signing the condolence register at Pa Clark’s Kiagbodo residence yesterday.

 

Pa Clark’s remarkable life and legacy, which spanned over nine decades, were marked by his unwavering dedication to the advancement of the Ijaw people and his tireless advocacy for justice, equity, and good governance. As a respected elder statesman, he played a pivotal role in shaping the history and destiny of the Niger Delta region.

 

According to the Delta Ijaw women, throughout Clark’s illustrious career, he demonstrated an unshakeable commitment to the fight for justice of Ijaw people and Niger Delta region, the protection of the environment, and the promotion of peace and stability in the region. His wisdom, guidance, and leadership inspired countless individuals, including women in politics, to strive for excellence and to work towards creating a better future for all.

 

The Delta Ijaw Women acknowledged Pa Clark’s profound impact on the lives of many others, expressing their deepest gratitude for his selfless service and unwavering support.

 

While mourning his passing, the IWPPC also celebrated his remarkable legacy, which will continue to inspire and motivate future generations of leaders and change-makers.

 

They prayed for God’s fortitude upon his family, Ngbelebiri Mein kingdom and Niger Delta region.
